Let's be real – college is not how they show it in the movies. It's not casually drinking coffee in the library or lounging on the quad. Sure those things happen, but the intensity is quite a bit higher. Finals week, though, has a stress level so much higher it's off the scale.
1. When sleep deprivation first begins to hit...
What even is sleep? It's a popular myth amongst college students.
2. When the professor says the final is cumulative...
This is such an unnecessary evil. As they say, the past should stay in the past.
3. When your professor sends you more assignments at the last minute...
They haven't graded over half of the semester's coursework yet, but they'll clearly have time for this one last project even though you definitely don't.
4. When finals week preparation really begins to hit you...
This is such an accurate representation of what college feels like.
5. When you realize there's not actually enough time in the world for everything that needs to be done...
It's as if they think their class is the only one we have to study for.
6. When your professor tries to tell you the final will be easy...
Yeah, you've told us that once or twice about other assignments.
7. When you should be studying but keep browsing Disney gifs instead...
Good thing my friends are here to keep me on track.
8. When the amount of time to study has officially run out...
It seems that no matter how much you prepare, you'll always feel like you could have done more.
9. When you walk in to take your first final...
It's time to finally accept our fate.
10. When others are done with finals and you're still suffering...
One day you'll be free too, but today is not that day.
11. When you're ready to be done but have one final left...
You can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it's still just out of reach.
12. When you finally finish your last final, the party can finally begin!
It's been a long semester, but it's finally over!
Here's to everything that happened this semester – the good, the bad, and the ugly, but most importantly, the greatness with friends. It's been an insane 16 weeks, but I wouldn't have rather gotten through them with anyone else.
