College... the place that everyone said would be "the best four years of your life." Right...? Or... maybe not sometimes. Either way, the contestants of both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette know what's up when it comes to college.

1. When a professor asks why you chose a topic for your paper

It's like... why did they even ask us this? Like... you know I don't actually want to write this paper, right? I'm not actually passionate about this topic... I just don't want to fail.

2. When 4 of your professors assigned 20-page papers all at the same time, then all the sudden one of your professors assigns a random presentation too.

I mean SURE... WHY NOT? JUST KEEP ADDING THE STRESS! WHO NEEDS A SOCIAL LIFE, HAHAHA NOT ME, APPARENTLY! HAHAHAHAIHATETHISSOMUCHHAHAHAHA.

3. When you find out that cute guy in your math class is taken

4. Watching the girl in your group project who didn't do anything get an A after you did all the work

5. When you find out you have to take a random gym credit for no apparent reason other than the college wanting more of your money

So you mean while you got me stressing over here over biology and calculus and philosophy, you also want me to randomly take a jogging class? How about no?

6. When you finish all of your homework before the due date

7. When someone sits in your unofficial assigned seat in a lecture class

8. When it's 11:30 pm and you just remembered you have a quiz due at 11:59

Uh-oh spaghetti-o.

9. When your professor emails you saying they're concerned about your grade

I really am trying. We can't all be good at everything.

10. The first time you hear a professor cuss and realize this is not high school anymore

Remember in high school when teachers refused to cuss or tell you their political views? Yeah, that ideology goes out the window in college.

11. When you thought you did really well on a test but you actually failed

Why me?

12. When you thought you did really bad on a test but you actually got an A

13. When you embrace the Freshman 15

I mean hey, it happens to just about everyone.

14. When it's Friday night and all your college friends made plans without you

Who needs fake friends? HA, NOT ME AND NETFLIX. We are very happy together.

College is stressful. Lots of work, lots of responsibilities and not enough time for sleep, honestly. I don't know who started the rumor that it was a great time and the best four years of your life but... they were wrong. More the most stressful years of your life, am I right? Well - good luck this semester, my friends.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
