College is known as either the best four years of your life or some of the most stressful, but it can also mean some of the most stressful things of your life. College is a tough four years but it is also the place where we make lasting connections and the place that is responsible for preparing us for the world. There are assignments due every day, clubs you are a part of that require weekly meetings and of course the possibility of having an internship so you are able to get a job out of college. In honor of college and all its stressfulness and wonderful memories here is college life as told by Schmidt from New Girl.

When you're preparing for a test after the weekend.

We've all made the mistake of only studying just a little and trying to get out of the test with a good grade, but sometimes you turn over that test and its just a disaster. In the end, you kind of just cry and curl up in a ball when the test is over. (if you even finish it). At least there is homework and three other tests that will help you increase your grade.

Just wanting to curl up in a ball after said test.

Realizing you're done with assignments so now you can have fun.

Yes, the test didn't go as planned but because there is no homework or any material that means you can go have fun with friends and take a load of the stressfulness of college off your shoulders.

You get so excited about seeing your friends that you don't even know what to say.

You then remember that even though being in college has its ups and downs, there are some pretty great moments.

Be thankful for all the great friends you have and the great moments you have with them.

After a tough week you are thankful for your friends for cheering you up and you can't wait to hang out and have fun with them again.

There are many things that happen in college that make us crazy whether it is dating, homework, clubs or friends, but at the end of the day, it is ok just to laugh about it.

College can be stressful but with friends like the ones Schmidt has the experience can be even better.

To all my friends that I have made in college. Thank you for everything you have done for me and being amazing. You each bring a wonderful quality to the table and you should all be proud of yourselves. I could not have gotten through college without you and I love you all.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
