There's nothing that I hate more than cold weather.
That is 70% of the reason that I moved to Florida (the other 30% being
Disney).
So there's no reason I should be experiencing 40 degree weather here, right? Right.
Back home, it's currently snowing and since most places in Georgia don't know how to handle cold weather, my brother and sister's schools are closed. And my mom can't currently get to work.
It must be nice to basically be able to shut the whole state down the second that an inch of snow hits the ground.
But I'm different from the people that wish for snow, and do you know why? For it to snow, that means that the weather outside has to be cold. And that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid!
My body is no longer equipped for any kind of weather that's over 60 degrees, and it would probably go into shock if it realized just what I would be putting it through if the temperature just decided to randomly drop.
Thankfully, being in Florida basically gives me comfort that I won't wake up one day and find snow on the ground. So, hopefully, it won't eventually be one degree here like it was back in one of my friend's hometowns.
So I commend all of the people that enjoy the snow and enjoy the cold. More power to you.
At the first sign of the apocalypse, you'll probably be one of the people that will survive and then I'll be jealous that my body can't just adapt like normal people.
Or maybe I'm just overreacting to the entire thing and I'll actually be fine if the temperature does decide to drop, and I can just drop the whole subject.
Yeah, that one is probably good.
