The lights dim. The crowd is silent for approximately 1.03 seconds. What comes next is every concert-goer's utopian dream.
Screams at a deafening roar fill Houston's White Oak Music Hall as American Indie pop band COIN steps out onto the stage in full force ready to steal the hearts of every single fan in the audience.
Like most concerts, COIN was an hour and a half dance party of pure bliss. It's as though nothing else existed in the whole world besides the magic happening within those four wooden anthem-soaked walls.
But here's where it changes. Unlike your average band, COIN takes the time to continuously acknowledge and thank their audience, calling out familiar faces and praising us, as if they weren't the ones giving us an unforgettable night.
What a humble and passionate artist to believe the opposite.
From one groupie to another, it's safe to attest to the fact that nothing is more attractive than a rockin' guy who knows how to work a synthesizer, and the bold and beautiful Chase Lawrence is no exception. Ladies, he does not disappoint.
COIN's sophomore album How Will You Know If You Never Try came out late April of 2017, and their world tour is still going strong. Chase said it best, I talk too much, so go ahead and snag some tickets and see them for yourself.
They are about to dominate up and down the west coast, get your tickets here.
As psychedelic colors and screams radiated through the atmosphere, COIN gave a real and raw experience we are all tucking away in our hearts to rock out to forever.
With all the chaos and differences going on in our world right now, everyone just needs a collective harmonious testament to all the good left to experience in the universe. No matter how different or apart the human race may feel, there's one language we all know how to understand, and it's music. And COIN speaks it well.
