7 Reasons Coffee Saves College Kids' Lives One Cup At A Time

Oh morning time! The time of day where everything is fresh and new and the day holds so many possibilities! Oh wait... I'm a college student... the day has classes and schedules ahead of me.

Still a great day with opportunities, but they're basically student-based opportunity, because you know, just trying to make it through school #collegelife. One thing I can always count on in the morning to get my day started and have me out the door with a smile is COFFEE!

The reason I make it out the door on time, but sometimes it is the reason that I'm late. It is definitely the reason that I can pull all-nighters when need be. Even just on a casual Tuesday afternoon, no deadlines in sight, sitting down for a lovely cup of afternoon coffee will brighten up my day.

Coffee has been a staple in my life long before college but has become a much more prominent staple since I entered my university years. Here are seven reasons why coffee is the best:

1. The first smells of coffee in the morning are enough to make my zombie-morning-self join the land of the living.

2. Headache essentials: ibuprofen and a LARGE cup of coffee

3.You can drink it black for the days that it is just absolutely essential.

4. It can be basically as sweet as ice cream for those basic, white girl days.

5. If coffee isn't at your disposal, basically anything coffee flavored will do the trick.

6. Coffee makes for great conversation starters/first dates.

7. Hot or cold, it's the perfect beverage for anytime of year.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
