Everyone knows how great coffee can be. Especially when you have no energy or motivation to do anything. Coffee is basically a magic potion for adults that magically give us a little more energy.

1. Coffee is a necessity as soon as you wake up

If anything has the power to drag you out from under the safety of your blankets it’s coffee.

2. Mornings really aren’t the same without it

A morning without caffeine flowing through your veins results in you staying in permanent zombie form.

3. Don’t ask me about decaf

Decaf does the opposite of what coffee is supposed to do. Unless I actually need to go to sleep in five minutes, always assume that I want regular coffee.

4. Even bad cups are doable

Bad cups of coffee may not be the best-tasting thing in the world, but if as long as it does the trick it’s okay. After a while, you don’t notice the bad taste.

5.There is no such thing as too much coffee

It doesn’t matter if I’ve already had 7 cups today, I want another one. And just for the record, my personal best is 11 cups in a day.

6. Coffee can make any moment better

Celebrating something? Coffee adds to the excitement. Going through a heartbreak? Coffee will be there for you to lift your spirits.

7. Too much sugar is pointless

If the cup is half sugar/syrup and half coffee, there is no point to it. I want to be able to actually taste the coffee. Too much sugar will probably just result in you either getting sick or going through a sugar crash.

8. It’s true that coffee really does make you a better person

Chances are if I haven’t had my coffee within half an hour of getting out of bed, or within half an hour of my last cup wearing off my mood will decrease dramatically. And trust me, no one wants that.

9. A trip to the coffee shop never fails to be the perfect date

It’s okay if you have trouble coming up with date ideas for you and your significant other. Going to the coffee shop is will always be a perfect idea. It’s cute, cheap, and makes everyone involved happier.

10. It is the perfect year-round drink

In the cooler seasons, hot coffee is always around, guaranteeing to warm you up. During the warmer seasons, hot coffee will still be available, but iced coffee will be there to keep you cool while still giving you a pick-me-up.

Really, there is no downside to coffee so go make yourself another cup and enjoy every last drop.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
