It's that time of year again. Christmas music has taken over the radio stations, and you either love it or hate it. Whether you love the Christmas music takeover or not, these songs are sure to warm your heart. Christmas haters watch out, your heart might grow a few sizes after listening to these jams.

1. It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas - Michael Bublé

Embrace the season. And listen to Bublé's Christmas albums.

2. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - Frank Sinatra

There's nothing like adding in Sinatra. If you haven't heard of him, you've got some work to do.

3. All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey

Don't fret about not being able to hit those high notes, and don't be a grinch about it either.

4. You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch - Thurl Ravenscroft

This one's gonna make you wish you had some roast beast for dinner tonight.

5. Drummer Boy - Justin Bieber

This song is nowhere close to the traditional version of the song, but it's great for jamming to in the car while you're out going Christmas shopping.

6. Silver and Gold - Burl Ives

This classic from the 1964 version of Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer directs us back to the true Christmas story and why Christmas is so important.

7. Feliz Navidad - José Feliciano

Children may or may not understand why this song is about Christmas, but hopefully you've figured it out by now.

8. Jingle Bell Rock - Bobby Helms

This song is just happy and makes you wanna do a little Christmas dance, around the Christmas tree perhaps?

9. Silent Night - Aly & AJ

Here's another classic song sung by modern artists, but this one doesn't get too crazy. I love this version!

10. Blue Christmas - Elvis Presley

Sung by the King himself.

11. Mary, Did You Know? - Pentatonix

If ever in doubt, listen to Pentatonix's Christmas songs. Their versions are modern but still sound amazing! This song about the King of Kings always stops me in my tracks.

12. Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt

Yet another classic version that if you haven't heard, here's your chance!

13. The Christmas Shoes - Newsong

This song used to make me cry every time I heard it. It's the sweetest story and has probably already been made into a Hallmark movie.

14. Last Christmas - Taylor Swift

No matter how you feel about her new reputation, this version of the song is worth listening to.

15. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer - Gene Autry

Do you recall the most famous reindeer of all? If not, this song will help you out.

16. Baby It's Cold Outside - Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé

This is not my absolute favorite version, but it is my favorite on that's available. My actual favorite is sung in a movie.

17. Baby It's Cold Outside - Elf version

If you haven't seen the movie Elf, you're missing out.

18. Joy To The World - Nat King Cole

But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people." Luke 2:10

Merry Christmas to all, and to all happy listening!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
