The holidays: Food, more food, friends & family, and some of the greatest movies ever produced. Honestly, what would the holiday season be without these movies that make it incredibly easy to forget about finals? The movies from our childhood still reign supreme, and remind us of those chilly December days in our Christmas jammies!
1. "Home Alone"
When a family leaves their 8-year old son at home, what's the worse that could happen? Oh, that's right.
2. "The Santa Clause"
Imagine your dad turning into Santa Clause? Wild? Yeah, this is a great one.
3. "Elf"
It's quite possibly one of the most quotable movies. Ever. Will Ferrel is an absolute genius in this movie. There is no way you can pass this movie up during the holidays.
4. "Miracle on 34th Street"
When someone needs to step in for Santa Clause it is all taken care of. The Macy's Thanksgiving Parade continues as it normally would.
5. "Christmas With The Kranks"
All the Kranks wanted was to get away from the stress of Christmas by going on a cruise. Unfortunately, their neighbors are coming for them.
6. "How The Grinch Stole Christmas"
What would Christmas be without watching this movie at least once?
7. "A Charlie Brown Christmas"
Good 'ol Charlie Brown! A true classic that cannot go without a mention.
8. "The Polar Express"
When a young boy sets out on an adventure to the North Pole everything starts to change.
9. "Fred Claus"
Essentially, Santa's brother sucks. Fortunately, this movie doesn't!
10. "While You Were Sleeping"
She saves him, and well for the rest of the movie, you'll just have to watch it.
11. "The Santa Clause 2"
Honestly, all of the "The Santa Clause"'s are fantastic. This one is also filled with a time of laughter.
12. "The Santa Clause 3"
Same goes for this one. Basically, Jack Frost sucks.
13. "Home Alone 2: Lost In New York"
When a young Kevin McAllister gets lost in New York City, he is bound for trouble. And it doesn't help that Harry and Marv are there to join.
While there are many wonderful Christmas movies, these are some that reign supreme. The Holidays are a fun time full of catchy songs, movies, time with friends and family, and most importantly SLEEP. Catch up on these golden movies, and while you're at it- get some of the classic hot cocoa!
