For all the Jews out there like me who love Christmas music, here are some classic Christmas carols re-done Hanukkah style. We deserve to have some catchy tunes too, right?! From “Frosty the Snowman” to “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” I have you covered.

1. "Frosty the Snowman" Tune

Judah the Maccabee,

Was a brave old Jewish soul,

With his determination and

Strength to save traditions,

He led all to victory.

Judah the Maccabee,

Saved Judaism, they say.

He only had a little oil,

But the children know

How it lasted for eight days.

There must have been some magic,

In that old menorah, they had.

For when they lit the burning lamp,

A miracle was found!

2. "Jingle Bells" Tune

Dashing through the kitchen,

Eating sugary sufganyot.

O’er the nights we eat,

Telling stories all the way.

Timers on ovens beep,

Making spirits bright.

What fun it is to dip and eat,

Latkes in toppings tonight!

Oh, menorahs, menorahs,

Shine so bright.

Oh, what fun it is to light,

For all eight nights.

Menorahs, menorahs,

Shine so bright.

Oh, what fun it is to light,

For all eight nights!

3. "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" Tune

Rocking around the menorah,

At the Hanukkah lighting.

Decorations hung where you can see,

Dreidels spinning non-stop.

Rocking around the menorah,

Let the Hanukkah spirit ring.

Later we’ll have some latkes,

And we’ll do some storytelling.

You will get a sentimental feeling,

When you see, candles burning

For many hours; just like all the Maccabees!

Rocking around the menorah,

Have a happy holiday.

Everyone dining merrily,

Devouring sufganyot their own way!

4. "All I Want for Christmas is You" Tune

I don’t want a lot for Hanukkah,

There is just one thing I need.

I don’t care about the presents,

Wrapped each night for me to see.

I don’t need to spin my dreidel,

Or win the jackpot of gelt.

Hanukkah Harry,

Won’t make me happy on any day.

I just want you for my own,

More than you could ever know.

Make my wish come true,

All I want for Hanukkah is you.

Oh, I won’t ask for much this Hanukkah.

I won’t even wish for gifts.

I’m just going to keep on waiting,

For some good food by the oven.

I won’t make a list and send it,

To any family or friends.

I won’t even stay awake to

Watch the candles burn to an end.

‘Cause I just want you here tonight,

Holding on to me so tight.

What more can I do?

Baby, all I want for Hanukkah is you!

Happy holidays everyone!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
