There are SO many Christmas albums out there, so I know it can be hard to pick one to listen to. Here are some of my favorite Christmas albums from different genres!

1. Retro Christmas Music: Phil Spector's "A Christmas Gift For You"

The upbeat tempos and happy harmonies on this album bring a 60's vibe to its listeners, and can't help but get you excited for the holiday season. Even the album cover feels retro.

My favorite: I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

2. Alternative Christmas Music: Relient K's "Let it Snow Baby... Let it Reindeer"

The heavy guitars give the traditional Christmas songs on this album a fun twist. They also have some great original songs.

My favorite: Sleigh Ride

3. Pop Christmas Music: Kelly Clarkson's "Wrapped in Red"

On this album, Clarkson uses her amazing voice to give us an album that not only holds the sound of traditional Christmas albums, but also with a different sound more unique to her own style.

My favorite: Winter Dreams (Brandon's Song)

4. Timeless Christmas Music: Michael Bublé's "Michael Bublé Christmas"

Most of his songs on this album stay traditional, but with his voice you don't really need to do much to make an amazing Christmas album. Regardless of whatever type of Christmas music you want to listen to, this album will never disappoint in preparing you for the holiday season.

My favorite: It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

5. Musical Theater Christmas Music: Lea Michele's "Christmas in the City"

Before this album came out, I was a little worried that it would be like listening to an unreleased Glee Christmas soundtrack. However, I was pleasantly surprised that Michele was able to use her background in musical theater to make this album completely her own!

My favorite: Silver Bells

6. Movie Soundtrack Music: The Polar Express

Not only is this a great Christmas movie, but the music is amazing as well!

My favorite: Believe

7. A Mix of Everything: Glee's Season 2 Christmas Album

The one thing I do miss about Glee is the annual Christmas album featuring a bunch of Christmas music. Out of all of their Christmas albums, this one is my favorite.

My favorite: Last Christmas

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
