You might not like someone, you may not know someone, you may not even talk about someone, but if you do, be mindful with what you say. You never know what someone could be going through.
People go through some tough times, and you may not know about it. Their actions could be forced through battling whatever they are going through, so don't bash them until you know the full story.
Recently I realized this first hand. Everyone has people in their life that they may not agree with or get along with, and as a result of this I found myself criticizing their actions behind their back.
Little did I know, that person has had some huge bumps in the road to where they are now, and I have no room for judgement. Nor does anyone. It made me feel ashamed, hurtful and I came off as someone I didn't want to be. It was heartbreaking that it took a simple story to see how mean I could be, even though I wasn't necessarily that persons friend.
This should not happen. Being good people all around shouldn't be because we feel bad for someone, or because we now understand why they might act the way they do.
