Some people date, just to date. Some people date because they're lonely, some people date because they like having another person to care for. And some people date because they are looking for a life partner. When you reach this point of dating, there becomes a "check-list" for what your man needs to have.

Some of them are small things that you might not think are important, and some you may think "that's a given." But on this list are attributes a good man would have.

Here are a few things to make sure you have on that checklist of yours.

1. He respects you.

2. He builds you up.

3. He makes you laugh.

4. He is kind.

5. He is caring.

6. He is willing to listen to you.

7. He respects your alone time, time with family, and time with friends.

8. He can read you like the back of his hand.

9. He makes you feel important.

10. He opens doors for you.

11. He is humble.

12. He is confident in his abilities.

13. He is ambitious and driven.

14. He holds true to his words.

15. He is loyal.

16. He says "bless you" when you sneeze.

17. He values what is important to you.

18. He respects your morals and values.

19. He is a Godly man.

20. He makes life an adventure.

21. He pushes you to be your best.

22. He makes you feel safe.

23. He compliments you.

24. He makes you feel like anything is possible.

25. He gets along with your father.

26. He can keep a conversation going.

27. He checks on you.

28. He is positive.

29. He is considerate.

30. He will hold you when you cry.

31. He is compassionate towards others.

32. He asks "How was your day?"

33. He gets the approval of your best friend.

34. He thinks ahead.

35. And most importantly, he loves you.

Of course, no man is perfect, but if you find a man like this, he is bound to be a keeper.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
