For all the women out there that suffer from thick, dry, frizzy curly hair, you are not alone! Many women have this issue, so don't worry. We all love that trendy curl look, but it can be difficult to achieve it. The biggest issue woman face is frizzy hair; it can be hard to control and it can sometimes give you an unmaintained look. It can be frustrating and difificult to keep your hair under control throughout the day. Here is a list of tips that will help you keep your curls frizz-free so you will be able to flaunt those perfect natural curls.

1. A Haircut is Essential

If your hair has not been cut for a long time, split ends tend to appear and that's when the frizz starts to set in. I know I have this issue; I get so busy that I just throw my hair up in a pony- tail and several months go by and I have no idea what to do with it. It is important to get your hair trimmed about every two months. Try not to keep your hair too short because it will be hard to handle the curls when it gets humid. You can always search online or in magazines for good stylists.

2. Condition, Condition, Condition

For curly hair to stay healthy, it is important for your hair to get the natural oils from your scalp, so don't shampoo every day. Shampoo roughly only four times a week because it tends to dry out the curls and if they are dry then they become frizzy. Good, healthy curls need moisturizer, so conditioning regularly is important. Try to avoid the two-in-one shampoo conditioners. When applying conditioner, start from the root to the tip and use a wide tooth comb to distribute the conditioner evenly. Let the conditioner stay on for two minutes before washing out. It also helps to wash your hair in cold water; it helps seal the hair cuticles which makes the frizz go away. I personally use Pantene Curl Perfection.

3. Time to Dry and product up!

When drying naturally curly hair can get tricky. It is important when drying curly hair to always use a diffuser or to let it air dry. This is also the point where you add in any hair product. Now, there are thousands of hair care products out there, but finding the ones that actually work can be a difficult process. I found two products that work best for me. I personally have very thick, kinky curls-which attracts the most frizz. I use Rusk Multi 12-in-1 w8less miracle leave-in treatment. This helps controls frizz and moisturizes dry and dehydrated curls. It also makes your hair extremely soft, which I love. I also use Tousling Spray, as this activates 2nd-day curls. It reforms curls, calms frizz, and has a built-in moisturizing formula. Alternatively, you can use Pantene Airspray; this is my favorite hair spray and it goes on with no sticky feeling, so you are left with weightless, defined curls.

4. Do not touch it!

After this semi-quick and easy process, it is important not to keep touching your hair. The oils from your hands actually make your hair even frizzier. So even though it looks great, try not to mess with it too much.

I hope these tips help you get that perfect look you want! If this process doesn't work quite as you thought the first time, don't worry this process takes a few tries to perfect!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
