The very controversial #3 ranked Welterweight Colby "Chaos" Covington is getting his opportunity to become the UFC Interim-Welterweight Champion as he takes on #2 ranked Rafael Dos Anjos in the Co-Main event of the amazing card that is UFC 225 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. All eyes will be on Covington as he will face off against possibly the best Rafael Dos Anjos we have seen as Rafael has been a monster since moving up to the Welterweight division. Especially after the disrespect, Colby showed towards the country of Brazil as he referred to them as "Filthy Animals".

Though the current Welterweight Champ is dismissing the thoughts of an Interim belt even existing. Tyron Woodley does not consider that belt to have any value what so ever, so the claims that anyone else would be a champion other than him is absurd. Though he feels the Interim Title is nothing the winner of that bout will be an amazing opponent for Tyron.

Colby has been saying Tyron's name for quite some time now as he continues to bash him every chance he gets along with the insults flying towards Dos Anjos. Covington believes he has what it takes to take out the whole welterweight division but there are plenty of killers that would give Colby a run for his money.

Fighters like Kamaru Usman who just dominated Damian Maia the same way the Colby did when he faced off against Maia. Usman and Colby clashed during the recent UFC 25th Anniversary as they continued to exchange words with nothing being held back. So right there we already have a grudge match that is brewing as these 2 are bound to meet at some point this year or the next.

Another top contender in the division like Darren Till who has been creeping through the waters destroying everyone and a bout between these 2 elite fighters would be nothing short of fireworks as someone would be bound to get knocked out. As Till has expressed interest in "shutting up" Covington if they were to ever clash in the octagon.

With Fabricio Verdum recently being flagged by USADA for failing a drug test Colby continued to bash Fabricio for this incident as they both share bad blood following the infamous "Boomerang Attack" as he referred to Werdum as a Slimeball for failing the test.

Though many do not like Colby Covington for his arrogance and the way he runs his mouth, there is no denying that he is a top contender in the UFC and has the potential to become the next UFC Welterweight Champion if he continues to dominate fighters the way he has been. With a record of 13 wins and 1 loss, we know "Chaos" is among us.
