Change is scary and everyone wants change but as soon as the change happens they stop and try to reject it. Thing is change can be either good or bad. If you are doing it for yourself and trying to better yourself then great you do you boo.

Don't ever give up on change and wanting to do something different. There is nothing wrong with change. It helps people grow and experience things.

There are different types of change. You have changed in locations by moving, making friends, a change in wardrobe and, trying new things. Basically, it is getting out of your comfort zone.

For some, it will come later in life or it will come early. Sometimes if you are uncomfortable doing something you can always step back and ask a few questions. How will this affect my life, how much time do I have for all of this, will I be able to do this? Then sleep on your choice. If you feel as if you should do it then go for it.

Never be afraid to step out of your normal routine. Everything will be okay and you will do fine. Sometimes it’s for the best. Also, it is a test to see who really will help you.

Change is something people will try to stop. If you want to change you cannot let others persuade you not to change, those people are not ones you want to be around.

Do what you want to do regardless of what people want you to do or what people say. If you want to do something listen to your heart, not other people.

Don’t be afraid. Do what you do best. Be yourself. People who don’t support you, don’t deserve your presence. Find something you are passionate about and excel in it.

Just make sure when you make a decision to do something it makes you happy. Don’t be afraid of change. It can only make you stronger. I know people who have made changes in their lives and they are doing really good today after they made that change.

I know people who love where they are at with the changes they've made. I’ve made changes and am still continuing to make changes to make myself a better person.

Never be afraid to ask for help when wanting to do something. Input is a good thing. Don’t let it change your heart though.

Just remember you do you.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
