Central Jersey does exist.

New Jersey is a place full of a great food, good shopping, and you have the perks of living by the beach. Central Jersey is especially the place to be. Nothing is better than Monmouth County, New Jersey. Everything in Monmouth County is so close and easy to travel to. Moving from one town to the next is easy peasy and not only that but Monmouth County contains towns' that are all very different and unique. Here are the top five reasons why living in Monmouth County is amazing.

1. We All Know "ROOK" Is The Best Place To Go For Coffee.

Even though it can be expensive, us locals do not care and will spend our good hard earned money, for coffee. And the best part of it is you can text your order in, this way it is ready when you get there. New Jersyans' like their coffee strong because they are always on the move. If you live in Monmouth County and haven't tried it yet, fair warning, you will get addicted very easily. Coffee is very near and dear to New Jersyans.

2. We Live No More Than 10 Minutes From The Beach.

Who doesn't love the beach? The best thing about living in Monmouth County, NJ is that you are by the beach all year round. You don't just consider it your "beach town," you consider it your "hometown" in which you are lucky enough to enjoy the beach all year round. Sometimes we take it for granted, and we hate when what we call, "bennys" raid our towns in the summer. Nothing is worse than benny traffic. We have all the best beaches, like Asbury Park, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Ocean Grove, and etc. Yes, jumping from beach to beach is the best part. Each beach has a different vibe and crowd to it, so it is nice that you can choose each morning which beach you would like to go.

3. The Best Restaurants.

Yes, us New Jersyans' always talk about how we have the best food, especially bagels and pizza (which, yes is 100% true). But nothing beats Monmouth County's restaurants. We have restaurant ranging from excellent Italian food to the best Mexican and even Seafood. Italian restaurant musts' are Stella Marina in Asbury Park, Bistro in Red Bank, and Brando's in Asbury Park. One of ultimate favorite Italian restaurants' in which is located in Asbury Park is known as Belmonte's. Every Monday and Thursday it is half price pasta nights and it is BYOB. What is better than that? Must try Mexican restaurants are Casa Comida in Long Branch, 10th Ave Burrito in Belmar, and Reina's in Ocean Township. These two Mexican places are to die for. Nothing beat's endless nachos and strong margaritas. Lastly, Seafood hot spots are Langosta Lounge in Asbury Park, Teak in Red Bank, and Taka in Asbury Park. All of these three places have amazing sushi and fresh seafood options. Monmouth County has a variety of excellent dining options, and that is just another essential perk of living in the best place in the world.

4. The Night Life.

Monmouth County has the ultimate best bars in the world. Ranging from small bars, to drinking on the beach, to classy and upscale bars. One of the best bar's to go to if you are on a budget is Bar Anticipation in Belmar. This bar every Tuesday has something known as, "Beat the Clock," in which entails starting at 8 pm, they charge you 50 cents per beer and every hour the price goes up 50 cents. How much of a bargain is that? You get to drink and ultimately not spend a lot of money at all. The key is though you need to get there before 8 pm, so you do not have to pay a cover charge. A fun and small bar is Anchor's Bend in Asbury Park. At this bar you can drink right on the beach and at night it is so scenic with little firefly lights. Anchor's Bend has the best rum buckets and it is the perfect summer drink to split with a friend. It is a nice relaxing scene, with good music and good people. Lastly, a bar that is a little more classy and upscale is a bar known as Watermark in Asbury Park. This bar is a rooftop bar right on the boardwalk looking over the ocean. What is more beautiful and romantic than that? Yes, drinks are a little more expensive, but it is the perfect bar to go to after a nice date night or even just for a more relaxed setting. Besides the bars, the boardwalks are always a great place to go. Sometimes even on the beaches' they have movie or bonfire nights, in which are awesome for families to go to and enjoy.

5. You Can Shop Till' You Drop.

Shopping is a something that most of us enjoy. And if you love to shop and get good deals, then Monmouth County is the best. Ranging from cute little boutiques to the best outlets and malls. One boutique that is a must go to for young girls is Hazel Boutique located in Belmar. It has the cutest and up to date trends for girls. It is the perfect place for girls in high school and college. Another good shopping area is the town Red Bank, it has more cute boutiques, ones' such as Lucky Clover, Dor L Dor, and many more. They are all very unique and they have pieces that you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere. And it is essential that you go to their sidewalk sales, for the ultimate good deals and good brands. The Jersey Shore Outlets located in Neptune are also a must to go to because of the great deals that they have. The shopping is endless in this area, and there are so many different places that you can go to. You can literally "shop until you drop."

Monmouth County, New Jersey is a place that I hold near and dear to my heart. I have traveled many places and nothing compares to it. It is the most perfect place to grow up in and I have learned to not take this beautiful county for granted. I hope I can raise my own family here someday, just so they get the same experience I did. The people in Monmouth County are the most genuine and down to earth people you with ever meet. Nothing compares to people that are from New Jersey <3
