If you've ever owned a cat, better yet, seen a cat, you know cats are better than boys. There's no argument. Cats are sweet, cute, and cuddly while boys are gross, sweaty, and stinky. Cats like you for you. You don't have to change for cats. You don't have to be skinny and have a big butt for cats.

1. Cats Purr

And what's cuter than that?

2. Cats love to cuddle

You never hear cats say "move over, its hot".

3. Cats are soft

Boys aren't soft and don't like it when you pet them... cats on the other hand.

4. Cats don't argue

They may be mad at you in their head, but they can't talk, therefore they can't argue.

5. Cats don't steal the covers

Mostly because they don't like to be under them. But hey, win win situation.

6. Cats won't tell you no

There is nothing worse than being told no, especially by a boy. Cats won't do this.

7. Cats are cute

What more do you need?

8. Cats like selfies

I mean, they may not, but at least they don't complain about it.

9. Cats like to bathe

They never smell bad because they are constantly bathing themselves. Unlike boys.

10. Cats don't care if you look like a potato

Cats love you no matter what you look like.

11. Cats don't have exes

I really don't think I have to elaborate on this one much.

12. Cats don't complain

They might let out a little "meow" when they're hungry, but that's about it.

13. Cats love naps

Doesn't matter what time, cats are always down for a nap.

14. Cats aren't needy

Keep some food in a bowl and the litter box clean and they're good to go.

15. Cats aren't afraid of commitment

Once a cat likes you, that's it. It will like you forever.

16. Cats don't dirty up dishes

A food bowl and a water bowl, that's it.

17. ...Or clothes

Cats don't wear clothes, so they don't dirty up clothes. You never have to do a cats laundry.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
