10 Reasons 'The Carrie Diaries' Needs A Reboot, ASAP

I did not expect to love this series as much as the original, but boy, was I wrong.

Last summer I began watching "The Carrie Diaries." As a long time "Sex and the City" fan, I did not expect to love this series as much as the original, but boy, was I wrong. I assume some of it had to do with the characters being closer in age to me, or the very attractive male love interests, but I was deeply saddened to hear it was only two seasons. I, like many other fans of the show, are still waiting for it to be picked back up again, and even though it seems unlikely, plenty of shows have been rebooted lately, and I think this should definitely be one of them.

1. That ending was not enough

I think we all knew Carrie wasn't going to end up with Sebastian because she moves onto other men in "Sex and the City," but that ending was not good enough. I need to know how little baby Carrie meets little baby Miranda and little baby Charlotte and how America's favorite brunch group came to be.

2. We need more Austin Butler in our lives

Or as my boyfriend calls him, "that sexy, sexy man."

3. We need to know what happened to Walt and Bennett

I loved everything about Walt's storyline and his path to self-discovery, and Bennett is always so supportive of Walt as he was figuring out who he really is. I really want to know what happens to them and if they will be together down the line.

4. I am dying to know how Samantha became the Samantha we know and love on "Sex and the City"

I feel like we barely got any background on Samantha, apart from her working in a bar and being Donna's cousin. I still have no idea how she went from being a bartender to flying all over the country drinking cosmos in the span of about 10 years.

5. We need more Larissa

I would kill to have Larissa's confidence. She has some of the best lines in the entire show and I need to have more of her in my life.

6. What happened to Dorrit?

She's never mentioned in "Sex and the City," I didn't even know Carrie had a sister before watching "The Carrie Diaries." Whatever happened to the baby sister who wore a bit too much eye makeup?

7. The wisdom that came out of this 16-year-old

"The Carrie Diaries" had a quote for every situation that a teenager could find themselves in, and handled every situation with grace, something a lot of teen shows are lacking now.

8. The drama

So many love interests in two short seasons, who knows how many a third would bring?

9. The 80s throwback

I mean, just look at the outfits.

10. The love

Besides all of the romance, there was so much friend-love in this show and family moments that you don't really see anymore on television.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.

15 Things That Happen On Your Birthday

Do you have a small get-together or throw a big bash?

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
