Yes, this comes from the person that has done a couple articles on why social media isn't important and shouldn't run your life but if you say you don't care what you post on your Instagram, you are straight up lying!!
You know you debate if you should post a picture or not and you also know you debate which filter looks best and if it should even have a filter.
Now when I say that I care about my insta feed, I mean I care about the feed. I care that my photos look like they belong. I like setting a mood for my feed and making people feel something when they go on it. To achieve this, I have had to delete some pictures, change the mood, perfect a mood, make sure it goes with the season. It takes time and a lot of thought but I want to make sure my pictures look good. I also do this with VSCO, and I have actually been doing it longer there.
I don't really care what people say when they look at my feed, but I care what I feel about it. Those pictures mean something to me. I am putting some parts of my life out there and I want to be in control of how they are seen. I want to feel like they are telling a story without the words.
So yes, I care about my feed, because it's part of my portrayal of my life. That is... until I delete it.
