I love Disney. I love Disney movies and games and theme parks and everything. I always have. I grew up during the coveted “Disney Renaissance” of great films that we all know and love such as "The Lion King," "Aladdin," "Mulan," "Hercules," etc. I love Disney-Pixar, too. Those films have always given me the biggest feels. "Toy Story 3: was a real tear-jerker, honestly. But, you know what?

I cannot stand the movie "Cars."

Okay, let’s rephrase that a bit. I actually really like the film. It is fun, new, cute, you name it. It even has a killer soundtrack featuring the beloved band Rascal Flatts. It is a fun watch whenever it is shown on ABC Family or whatever that channel is called nowadays. With that all said, the idea behind the movie infuriates me. It makes me more angry than seals and sea lions do. It grinds my gears harder than the guy who shot Harambe. It makes me want to bang my head on the ground until the world will listen to me.

You cannot have a world that is run by cars and cars alone! In the movie(s) there are no humans. There are not even any animals. It is a world seemingly populated by sentient modes of transportation. Tractors are cows. Cars are people. Little Volkswagen cars are bugs. Trucks are trucks (but they have faces I guess so they’re also people).

Sure, I know it’s Disney and cartoon and fiction. I KNOW. But this is too much for me. This is absolutely absurd. No matter how you dice it, you cannot have a world run by cars.

Cars have hotels for cars. Cars have gas stations for cars. Who built it all? Who makes the rules? Who is in charge? How did it all come to be? Is this a post-apocalyptic Earth in which all the people died after cars and robots became too smart and killed us all? And what about when Lightning McQueen has a crush on Sally? How do they breed? Why are there kid and adult cars?

I could go on and on about what is wrong with the Cars universe. Okay, just one more while we’re at it. You know the other movie, Planes? The one that stars a cropduster and seemingly takes place in the Cars universe? Yeah, that one. You remember it. It’s the one where the plane has a deep fear of heights. That’s all I have to say about that.

Do you like the movie and wanna talk about it? Come at me then. I'm ready for you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
