You may know her as the girl who has taken the world by storm and recently broken several impressive records. However, you may also know her as the shy girl who auditioned for the X-Factor USA back in 2012 and has grown up to be the woman she is today.

Either way, Camila Cabello is one of the most popular female artists currently and has been anything but under the radar this past year. Between opening up for Taylor Swift on her "Reputation Tour" with Charli XCX and remaining on the charts with her top hits, as well as the radio, Cabello continues to shock both the general public and her fans with her astonishing talent and humble personality.

There are many aspects of Camila Cabello that make her an ideal role model and artist. Although she is only a 21-year-old singer-songwriter, she never fails to make time for what is important outside of the music industry. With such a busy and demanding schedule, it can be difficult for an artist to focus on anything other than the music itself. However, Cabello carefully considers the needs of others and constantly raises money for notable causes such as Save the Children. Her family is also incredibly important to her and for this reason, she travels everywhere with her mom.

In terms of what she stands for, the positive outcomes are endless. Cabello is all for girl power, self-discovery and standing up for what you believe in. She promotes body positivity and encourages people to recognize that they are beautiful inside and out regardless of what other people say. Also, she reminds her fans to be real friends and find their real friends as well.

"Be kind to people, keep people's secrets, be the one that answers the phone when nobody else does, make everyone feel important. No matter what happens, be as kind as you can." - Camila Cabello

Cabello's story is also an incredibly inspiring one. Growing up in Cuba, Cabello had the dream of becoming a singer and pursuing her goals in the United States. Shortly after she moved to the states, she began practicing to karaoke tracks secretly in her bedroom and originally did not want anyone to hear her sing. She was considerably shy and reserved, but that soon changed when she turned 15 and decided she wanted to audition for the X-Factor. After that, the rest is history.

Although Cabello is now a star with her own makeup line by L'oreal and chart-topping hits, she never fails to remember where she comes from and this still inspires her music today. Also, she recognizes that she's just like her fans. She falls in love, she loves watching movies and loves to travel.

Camila Cabello's genuine personality and undeniable talent attracts a variety of people from all over the world. Whether she's answering fan tweets or performing in front of thousands of people, Camila Cabello remains true to herself and is making a large impact in the music industry.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
