The evolution of Miley has been a long and weird road. She was our childhood hero and role model as Hannah Montana, then our favorite pop diva during the "Party In The U.S.A" era, and then she was our worst nightmare when she stuck her tongue out during every opportunity and grinded on Robin Thicke at the MTV Music Awards (Although, Bangerz was the best album ever made). We've loved her, we've hated her, we've been depressed that her and Liam Hemsworth called it quits. It's been a lot of emotions over the past 10 years with that girl. But, if you consider yourself a fan of Miley and haven't seen the new Billboard Magazine cover story... sit down because it's amazing.
If this picture alone doesn't make you super excited, we can't be friends. Here we see a natural Miley, wearing light pink in a bunch of plants. She isn't wearing nipple pasties or sticking her tongue out, which is quite the accomplishment. In the article, she discusses how she stopped smoking weed (hallelujah, no more blunt-filled Instagram posts) and how great her relationship is with Liam.
I think this new Miley is the perfect combination of all the past Mileys we've seen in our lives. She's kind of innocent, engaged to Liam, working on music, wearing a light pink dress and barely any makeup, but she's also got all of her tattoos and badass attitude. I think I'm obsessed with this new Miley. If this story is a little taste of what we're going to get in the future, I'm digging it.
