What's on your bucket list?

BucketList for LIFE
WhyisMarko

Death happens all around us. It's practically unavoidable. I am only 21 years old, yet I could die tomorrow. People have accidents. I have thought about it. And I would be rather livid to know that I didn't get to do everything that I wanted to do before I died.

So here is my bucket list. It isn't in order, nor does it have everything that I want to do because that would take more than one article to list everything. This is a partial list of what and why I want to do these things before I die. Or at least try too. (Insert a winky face here. Haha)

1. I want to set foot on all seven continents.

Ever since I picked up my first book and started to read, I have wanted to travel to where the books take place. I have always been fascinated with visiting other places other than Georgia. Don't get me wrong, I love Georgia. I was born here, but I am not a small town life girl. I want to travel and see what the world has to offer before standing over a map and picking a place to settle down.

2. I want to make a foundation for bullying awareness.

I have already wrote about how bullying affected my life. No matter what schools or basically the world says, there will always be bullying. And there will always be a kid, teen or adult that will be affected negatively. They become suicidal. I want to change the world for the better. I want to raise money to help those victims find solace in a more permanent solution that killing themselves. I know it won't be an over night thing. But maybe have a program where the bully and the victim have to join to realize that they don't have to bully and they don't have to let the bullying kill them.

3. The Gif below says it all.

I have loved telling stories since I was little. And I found out that I love to write them even more. So I want to become a published author. I want my name in bookstores and I want my book in stranger's hands. I have a story to tell, but the question is, is someone ready to read it?

4. I want to become a teacher. I plan to go to college to earn my teaching degree. I have been to four middle schools and three high schools. Without the teachers that I had, I would not of been able to graduate on time. I want to be able to help students learn to love reading and writing.

5. I want to build my own house.

Just the feeling that the house would be me in object form. It would be my thoughts put into a structure that would be mine forever. My kids will be raised there and their own kids might too. I have moved around a lot and I want to settle down. I want to be able to say that this home is mine and I'm never leaving.

6. I want to play in one of my favorite tv series. And meet the stars.

I mean, who wouldn't want to party with your shows favorite celebrities? I would love to produce my own movie and be able to meet/cast some of my favorite people. But if I don't produce my own, I would love to play an extra or something.

7.Fall in Love

I know I can't have a fairytale or something out of the movies. But I want something close to that. I want to fall head over heels in love. I am one of the very few people that's never had a boyfriend or gone on a date or anything. I like to think that maybe my soulmate just isn't near yet. That one day I will just look up and our eyes will meet and I will just know. I want someone who I can watch the sunrise with and tell them I love them without a doubt.

8. Last, but not least, I want to become a parent. I want to bring a human being into this world that is a perfect mixture between me and my husband. I want to raise them right. Be able to show them that the world we live in is broken, but they can be a part of fixing it. I want to be the mother that I never had. I love my mom with all my heart, but I wished our lives were better. And I am slowly working on making my life better so I can give my own kids the life I never had.

What is your bucket list? What do you want to accomplish? Now that you know mine, well a little bit of it, think about yours. Face your fears. Go for the gold. Make a change. Because I know I will.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
