Finals are finally coming to an end and that means summer is nearing as you're reading this. That means, long nights under the stars, bonfires with friends, and long beach days. Here are 10 bucket list things to do in the summer if you run out of any of your own ideas.

1. Go a whole day without technology

Yes, you read that correctly. That means, no social media scrolling and exploring for the whole day go outside and enjoy the nice weather with your dogs or a good book.

2. Bake something you've never made

Baking can be very therapeutic, so be creative and look for some cool recipes online. Try Tasty or Buzzfeed!

3. Go to a concert

There's always free concerts in NYC all summer long or in your local area, so do some research and go out with your friends for a fun night!

4. Send a message in a bottle

Whether it be a secret no one knows or something you need to get off your chest, go to your local crafts store or your own liquor cabinet for an empty bottle to decorate and get to writing.

5. Do some yoga

Yoga is a great way to de-stress and find your inner peace on a chaotic day. You don't have to be flexible at all since there are various poses to choose from, so close your eyes and take a deep breath.

6. Stargaze

Not only is it free but super easy! You just need a buddy and a blanket and some good music to listen to as you lay outside and watch the stars twinkle for you.

7. Have a photo shoot with your friends

Dress up, grab a phone, and say, "Cheese!"

8. Wath the sunrise or sunset

Watch the sunrise or the sunset if you're not really a morning person! It's a great way to begin or end your day.

9. Eat breakfast for dinner

Who said pancakes and waffles are not allowed for dinner? They are not only super delicious but easy to make.

10. Have an at-home spa day

Look up some homemade facial recipes and grab some of your friends, and pamper yourselves!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
