As I was packing to move out of the only place I have ever called home, I was sure that I had packed EVERYTHING. I even thought I had packed too much. But, once I had moved into Jacksonville State University (JSU) and got settled in, I realized my closet barely had anything in it and I was missing some of the necessities.

1. More Clothes

With me not bringing a lot of clothes, it means I HAVE to do my laundry weekly. I would like the option to procrastinate my laundry as well.

2. An extra comfy chair

The wooden chairs that the stuck in the dorms are not that comfortable.

3. A first aid kit

With in the first week of school, not only has my boyfriend fallen down the stairs but I have as well. Now we are both #twining with scarped knees. A first aid kit would have saved us a couple of trips to Walmart.

4. More hats

Not only are hats a basic accessory to throw on when you have a bad hair day, they also block some of the sun out of your face. #PaleLife

5. Movies/ Tv Series

Not only does Netflix not have everything, they also took off Bob's Burgers. #BringBackBob

6. Game Console

For those nights when everyone is partying and you are just being anti-social.

7. More Money

For those times when your teacher randomly adds an extra textbook that you 'need'.

8. Extra Chargers

Because you are going to have to go to Walmart at 2AM and buy a phone charger because you left yours at your boyfriend's dorm and you don't want to walk down 4 flights of stairs again.

9. Extra sheets

When you finally decide to wash your sheets and you can't lay in your bed till they are done.

10. More posters

Not only do posters add personality to those bare walls, it makes your dorm feel more homey.

11. More pillows

Pillows are a great seat for when you have people come over and you do not wan them to dirty your white comforter.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
