It actually took me awhile to break and watch Making a Murderer; Netflix’s new documentary masterpiece. I went in with a very skeptical mindset, I wasn’t entirely sure what I was about to watch. I only read article headlines and status posts of friends on Facebook. A friend told me that it would, “f*ck my brain up beyond belief.” So I did what any other man would have done, I sat down with some chicken tenders, honey mustard, and a bunch of weed; and I watched the f*ck out of this documentary.
Holy f*ck. Am I Right? Now if you’re reading this segment of my article, my hope is that, 1. You have finished the documentary as well and 2. You are curious to hear what I have to say now that the documentary has finished.
So, I’m just going to be the first one to say it, what the fucking f*ck.
Alright, so here’s what we know: as in everyone. Steven Avery has the IQ of around 70 as does Brandon Dassey. 70. Do you guys understand how low that actually is? You should google it if you can’t comprehend. I refuse to explain that because it is self-explanatory.
Now, we also know that Steven was committed of a crime and was put in prison for 18 years. He was released because, guess what, he was innocent. Surprise, Surprise.
So fast forward to the whole trial of Teresa right? Does anyone realize that the judge is telling Steven how evil he is? The judge talks about how Steven has been doing worse and worse but Steven was proven to be innocent for a big part of why the judge dislikes Steven. Another huge part is the fact that it’s obvious the judge doesn’t like Steven. How is that fair in the court of law? This also ties into that lawyer Brandon had, that little snake that believed Brandon was guilty before the verdict was even given. F*cking scum.
Let’s transition to the whole murder mutilation scene that was described. So two people with the IQ of 70, tied a girl down, chained her to a bed, raped her, after raping her, slit her throat, dragged her down the hall, shot her, stabbed her, and then cut her up and threw her into the fire. This is literally how it’s described. My one thing about this whole complex murder, how does a man with the IQ of 70, get rid of all traces of Teresa’s blood aside from like a splotch of his own blood, not even Teresa’s? Brandon said in his statement, he slit her throat in the bed. But there were 0 signs of a person struggling for their life, the house was searched 8 times. Blood stains. Everyone knows this. How do you get blood out of a carpet? Off the walls? Virtually every spot aside from the car?
Just think about it, do you really think someone with a learning disability could orchestrate something that requires a sophisticated mindset?
