Coming back from break, it is really difficult getting back into the swing of your daily schedule. As I sit in class, my mind tosses and turns in many different directions, none of which pertain to the information relevant to our current discussion. Here are just a few of the things I think about while in class– I'm sure most of us have had these thoughts before!
1. Why am I here?
Being in college it is really easy to blow off any and all classes, but I'm here because participation points are the only thing keeping me afloat at this moment.
2. Try and focus on the content
Honestly, I stare so hard at the teacher's mouth trying to figure out exactly what it is he is saying that I start to imagine other, and weirder, things coming out of his mouth. The content is really just too boring.
3. Why didn't I say this or that in that one conversation that happened like a year ago?
Really any other conversation at this point would be more interesting and pique my attention than this one.
4. Cat videos
Enough said.
5. Ok, time to focus
Seriously, you can do it. Wait, no I can't.
6. Fantasies
Ryan Gosling is really into me. Well, in my daydreams he is.
7. Why am I still here?
I should really fain an illness and pretend like I just have to go to bed, because honestly, I have to go to bed.
8. How much longer?
Time goes by slower than while running on a treadmill, if that is even possible.
9. Finally, time to go!
Yeah, wow amazing! 30 minutes of free time then another round of boredom!
