The Next Book You Should Read Based On What You Binge-Watch

As the chilly Spring temps warm up to Memorial Day Weekend's traditional heat, you may find yourself in need of some R&R outside instead of your usual routine of Netflixing with the shades pulled down. If you're searching for a more outdoor-friendly activity that'll give you the same satisfaction of binge-watching KUWTK for five hours straight, try diving into a good book.

Below are some suggestions to get you started based on your small-screen favorites:

If you love 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' try 'The Nest' by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney

If you're obsessed with family drama that involves a lot of twists and turns, you'll be addicted to readingThe Nest, which centers around four siblings who are poised to come into their family inheritance. After a dismal series of events, they quickly learn that their luck has changed and there's no money left in their nest-egg. With a slightly dark, dramatic tone, The Nest will keep you flipping its pages to get to the bottom of the storyline, similar to how you're trying to get to the bottom of this whole Blac Cyna/Rob Kardashian/Kylie/Tyga baby drama.

If you're obsessed with 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' try 'Sharp Objects' by Gillian Flynn

With just as much sexually-charged drama and provocativeness as a Stabler and Benson tag-team, Sharp Objects will keep you hanging on every detail until the last page. As a young journalist from Chicago with a troubled past and even more troubled mother travels back to her hometown to cover the disappearance of two abducted and murdered girls, an unsuspecting perpetrator emerges. Filled with emotionally-stirring plot-twists and a heartbreaking finish, you'll be addicted to Flynn's unusual and unique storytelling.

If you love 'Sex and the City' try 'Good In Bed' by Jennifer Weiner

If you've been addicted to the feel good vibes Carrie and company always bring through their journey of good friendship and bad boyfriends, you'll appreciate the funny, girly attitude of Good In Bed. Based around a heroine name Cannie who is on a journey of self-acceptance of her body, her mother's sexuality, and her ex-boyfriend's very humiliating public bashing, Weiner will you keep you cheering until the very end of the story and giggling every page in between as Cannie finds happiness and love in her own time.

If you're obsessed with 'Parks and Rec' try 'The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo' by Amy Schumer (coming August 2016)

Constantly cracking up by Leslie Knope's crazy antics? But also a little inspired? Try Amy Schumer's new memoir which seems to promise nothing short of Schumer's typical raunchy, kick-ass antics. Schumer promises to deliver some much needed anecdotes to her crazy, star-struck life and some motivational pep-talking which is sure to strike a Leslie-esque chord. The book is set to be released come August and you can bet it'll probably peak the Best Seller's List.

If you love 'Grey's Anatomy' try 'The Devil Wears Scrubs' by Freida McFadden

Throw it back to Meredith Grey's intern days with this novel featuring a fresh-faced medical intern dealing with a hellish senior resident and a hot and untouchable love interest surgeon. You'll be instantly reminded of Meredith's struggle with her feelings with McDreamy but enjoy a new twist with a storyline more focused on the medicine.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
