After starting the season 2-1, the Boise State Broncos were ready to keep the scoring going after a win at home against Idaho State 52-0. After coming in for an injured Ryan Finley (broken ankle), Brett Rypien got to start for the first time in his collegiate career.

Jeremy McNichols had 69 yards rushing, and a touchdown, to give him an NCAA high 10 rushing touchdowns in the season through four games.
The Broncos went on the win against Virginia with a final score of 56-14. Boise State will go on to play Hawaii at home on Oct. 3.
