Set sail in the Mediterranean this summer with your own boat rental

Looking for a summer adventure that's a little different from your usual holiday? Then why not set sail and explore the Mediterranean in your own boat rental? Hiring your own boat has never been easier too! You simply go online and look at many of the boat hire sights to find the perfect vessel for you. For example, when renting a boat with Click&Boat, the leading boat rental company, guests can choose:

  • Where to sail
  • Boat type (catamaran, sailboat, luxury yacht, motorboats)
  • When the vacation starts
  • ...and for how long they need the boat

So what are you waiting for? We've picked some of our favorite destinations in the Mediterranean that you can visit this summer in your own private boat!

Top boat rental destinations in the Mediterranean

Take a look at our pick of some of the best locations the Med has to offer sailors and travelers alike!

Croatia

Croatia is renowned for its nautical opportunities, as well as the crystal clear water that surrounds its shores. If you decide to rent a yacht charter in Croatia, there are so many places for you to see! Arguably, one of the most popular is the two cities of Dubrovnik and Split.

Dubrovnik has its historic town walls that were featured in the popular TV series, Game of Thrones. Split is one of the better locations for you to dock your rented yacht in Dubrovnik. Why? There are so many different marinas for you to choose from! All close to local restaurants and beaches for you to explore.

Greece

Greece has a famous past with its islands and historical tales of sailing. If you want to plan your own Greek Odyssey, then sailing between the country's many islands in your boat rental is the best way to do it! You'll be spoilt for choice on where to visit too! You can sail to the volcanic island of Santorini and visit the famous blue-domed houses, or hop on over to Mykonos and soak up the beach party atmosphere.

France

The South of France is arguably one of the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean, boasting both Saint Tropez, Cannes, and Monaco on its doorstep. If money is no object, then rent a motor yacht and sail between these luxurious cities and live like how the rich and famous do. There's plenty of history, French cuisine, and culture for you to experience in each of these destinations, just don't be surprised by the price tag!
