Bloom where you are planted. Please, know that you are not a mistake in this world. Take the position that you are placed in and run with it. Nothing is sweeter than knowing you can conquer your trials. Learning to be content during a season of life can be so heart wrenching and magical at the same time. There's usually going to be tears involved, but every sad heart can be soothed with a hug; take charge and march on! Be who you want to be in this upside down world. There is beauty in finding the reason for your happiness. Be the happiest person in the entire world. Smile so big that it hurts. Laugh unconditionally and never settle for a dull moment. Life will not always be gentle with you. Life is meant to give you a close, lifetime experience. So get cozy and find your roots.

Bloom in your relationships. This is so important to surviving. You have to have a community that is willing to cheer you on. Find people who love you for your flaws and not for your status. Embrace those around you and never turn an odd face away. Your best friend could be sitting right next to you. Take a relationship and pour your heart into it. Love them unconditionally and be the person that they need in their life. Find human beings that are going to blossom with you. Spring forward and always look for good people in this world. We need more individuals in this world who want to simply just do life with you and not keep regulations. Love on people like there is no tomorrow.

Bloom in your spirituality. Let's get real, find something that is going to soothe your soul and cling to it. Humans are designed to be in touch with their spirituality. Spirituality is something that is often times overlooked because it is too time-consuming. Sit down, be quiet and breathe in so much oxygen you get high off of life. Find your niche and sketch your lifestyle around it. Meditation is meant to be practiced daily. Find what makes you feel at peace and create a forever lifestyle. Make people wonder why you are so free.

Bloom for those who are wilting. There are unfortunate people that will never find their place in this world. It's something that should never be tolerated. Why are you so special in comparison to the average person next to you? I've got an answer for you: you're not any more special. For those who just can't seem to grip reality and see past the trials, know that there are people in this world who are trying to make a difference in your life. We are cheering for you.

Bloom in all seasons of life. Never should you find yourself at a lost. You are never losing in this world. It may seem like it sucks, and it probably does, but chin up, buttercup! Don't let the world know they are winning. Simply find your peace and contentment. Blossom and let your joy radiate from your eyes. No one is happier than a person who smiles with their eyes. Show the world that you were designed with a purpose. Stand tall, and run towards your future self with passion and lead people to your happiness. Let's create a society that wants to grow for the right reasons and not for self-gratification.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
