It is the richest, most advanced country in the world.

“Black Panther” succeeds in glorifying the vibrancy of African culture and highlighting the beauty that is to be found within it. The stunning graphics and groundbreaking scenes alone make this film worth seeing. However, the film itself contains more than well-crafted computer-generated imagery and a powerful soundtrack. It also provides an impactful message that serves a meaningful cause. The film itself serves as a tribute to black culture as it not only emphasizes the injustice found in our modern world but also empowers and praises the black community by highlighting the strength, intellect and indomitable moral foundation within Wakandan culture.

In 1966, the Black Panther comic was released. Co-Creator, Jack Kirby, reveals that he intended to create the comic in order to bridge the gap between underrepresented blacks. Due to political backlash, the Black Panther comic-book hero was renamed the “Black Leopard” so that he would no longer be associated with the political group. Not only was the purpose of this film done with good intentions, but the quality and structure in the filmography proves to be just as valuable. In fact, “Black Panther” has the best Rotten Tomatoes review for any live-action super hero film and broke records in the box office pre-sale. The tedious hours and careful thought put into this radical film were not in vain because, through it, an evocative and revolutionary film was made that will carry through the ages. Hopefully, it will serve as a pioneer for other noteworthy films in the future.
