I'm constantly on the look-out for new shows that I should binge. While I enjoy watching The Office over and over, I do appreciate new storylines and new characters that I can get invested in. I asked a few of my friends for binge-worthy show recommendations and they delivered.

Here are some shows that you should be watching.

1. Brooklyn 99

Summary from IMDb: Jake Peralta, an immature, but talented N.Y.P.D. detective in Brooklyn's 99th Precinct, comes into immediate conflict with his new commanding officer, the serious and stern Captain Ray Holt.

What the youths are saying:

"It's fun and poignant when talking about current issues."

"It's hilarious and frankly a well-put-together show."

2. Psych

Summary from IMDb: A novice sleuth is hired by the police after he cons them into thinking he has psychic powers which help solve crimes. With the assistance of his reluctant best friend, the duo take on a series of complicated cases.

What the youths are saying:

"It's just a fun show!"

"Psych! Psych! Psych! Psych! Psych! Psych! Psych! Psych!"

3. One Day at a Time

Summary from IMDb: Follows three generations of the same Cuban-American family living in the same house: a newly divorced former military mother, her teenage daughter and tween son, and her old-school mother.

What the youths are saying:

"Talks about immigration, heritage, mental illness, and LGBT issues!"

"Super loveable and wholesome show."

4. The Good Place

Summary from IMDb: The Good Place is a town where those who have been good throughout their lives go once they have passed away. When Eleanor arrives at the Good Place, she realizes she has been mistaken for someone else, and seeks help from a new friend to earn her spot in the Good Place.

What the youths are saying:

"Funny and light-hearted show with incredibly lovable characters."

5. Jane the Virgin

Summary on IMDb: A young, devout Catholic woman discovers that she was accidentally artificially inseminated.

What the youths are saying:

"It's addictive and crazy funny show presented in a telenovela style."

"One of the best shows on air in my opinion."

6. This Is Us

Summary from IMDb: A heartwarming and emotional story about a unique set of triplets, their struggles, and their wonderful parents.

What the youths are saying:

"It's maybe not as 'binge-worthy', but it's real and emotional and relatable."

"It takes the top spot for Best Show on television for me."

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
