Elena Davies, 26, Former Radio Personality Elena has given me some very mixed feelings about how she will do in the game. The big thing that really is going against her right now is that she said that she is abrasive which is something that never really translates great to the Big Brother house. When you are abrasive, that's when fights start. When fights start, people target you. She also says that people don't fully appreciate her at first because she is such is a big personality. This is not good for the first few weeks because people will just be looking for an easy target based off of first impressions. That being said I fully expect her to be on the block the first week, however she won't go home. Pertaining to her strategy, Elena said some really interesting things. She even admitted she would float if she had to. What she most likely means is that she will try to float by for a couple of weeks before she really starts playing. The social game is going to be her biggest asset. Plus she is able to not let her emotions get involved which is really good for a Big Brother player. This will allow her to make big moves without thinking twice which is sometimes good. The fact that she says that she wants to really entertain America and that she likes James scares me, but overall Elena will be one of the better players this season.
Mark Jansen, 26, Personal Trainer Man, Mark seems like such a nice guy. Matt said he was going to be too nice, but there is a strong chance that this guy will be too nice. He said he is a fan so that isn't a bad thing for him, but this means he also should know what not to do, which is getting in a showmance. He said his number one downfall is that he is girl crazy which can be used in the Big Brother house as a tool if you know how to use it right. There is a good chance Mark doesn't. He will probably get sucked in by one of the girls, my guess is Jessica or Elena, and get too attached. He then won't be able to separate his emotions from the game and he will be manipulated until one of the girls sees fit to cut him. He is also is playing for his single mom and we have seen in the past what players are like when they are playing for someone else. They typically get really emotional in the house and in the DR and sometimes take it out on others. While it is a good tool to have to gain favor with people, for Mark it is going to be difficult because of his physical threat in the comps. Yeah, people might feel bad for him, but still he will probably be just too good. If he can supress these things, make himself look weaker than he really is for the first few weeks this will benefit him greatly. Outside of that, he will get drug I think and sadly not be too great of a player.
