As many of you know, "The Big Bang Theory" has been quite the bang on national television. It is currently airing the rest of season 10 with season 11 in the works. "The Big Bang Theory" combines two things: humor and the ability to be a nerd without a care in the world. 'Cause, you know, smart is the new sexy. We know we're all obsessed with Shamy and Raj's feminine ways (nothing against Raj -- I love that man), but there is something you should know, something you should be excited about!
But guys, there is something major in the works for Jim Parsons! They are making a prequel! And it is all about Sheldon Cooper, and guess who is the executive producer? JIM!!!
I mean, why would we not want him to help produce a "Big Bang Theory" spin-off? He is the sole embodiment of Sheldon Cooper. God, I am so excited! It is going to be an amazing spin-off because hello, it's Jim effing Parsons, who knows the character of Sheldon Cooper so well. I bet he's like his twin. What will be even more interesting is who they will pick to play the young Sheldon Cooper. I am sure Jim will have some say in that matter.
We will get to see our little moon pie grow up through the years, being picked on by bullies, building a death ray, and fighting with his twin sister. I do hope they bring on the actress that plays his mom on the show for the spin-off. She doesn't age one bit.
But guys, we have been dying for a spin-off show from the "Big Bang"! And I think it is phenomenal that they are starting with Sheldon. What next? Spin-offs of all the characters? I would die if they did one for Penny! No doubt we are drinking a hot beverage to calm our excitement down a bit. Or maybe our friends are saying "you're crazy," and we just quote Sheldon that we aren't crazy because our mothers have had us tested.
Let's face it: we are all excited to finally one day have a show fully focused on this cute man.
We've all been waiting for this spin-off to happen ever since season one. We will finally find out how Sheldon grew up and what bullying he faced. That has always been my curiosity. Well, maybe I'm more curious about how he built a death ray in his room or how he stored yellow cake uranium in his backyard shed.
We as fans have been devoted and have always craved more episodes from the show. And to our satisfaction, the show just gives and gives to us. The actors love doing what the do and always want us to be happy. What more could we possibly ask for?
