A Thank You To The Brother I Never Had

Thank you for all the hugs, the lift in the air full body hugs that immediately make me happy, for always listening to my over dramatic issues, and for letting me cry in your arms but in the brother sister way, obviously.

On top of listening to my over dramatic issues, thank for just listening in general. Listening to me rant about clothing, boys, anxiety, and life. Thank you for trying to stay on track and fully interested even though I know I talk too fast. Thanks for caring in ways no one else does.

Thank you for making me laugh, always. For the random texts of appreciation and weekly catch up sessions of life. Thanks for attending all my important events and being my number one fan.

Thank you for showing up unannounced when you know I need it. Thank you for showing up to hang out with not only me but my family, too. Thank you for literally being a part of my family. Thank you for being my brother. The brother I never had.

Thank you for being honest. For telling it to me straight, no sugar coating. Thank you for putting me in my place when I act psychotic, angry, and or annoying.

Thank for always texting back, even though I sent like 15 separate messages. Thank you for answering all my face times at every hour of every day. Thanks for talking to me constantly.

Thank you for being a loyal Instagram liker.

Thank you for being treating me better than any boyfriend ever would.

Thank you for being my brother, the person I would take a bullet for, and my best friend.

Thank you for being you, bff.

Much Love.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
