The Presidential Election has been at the forefront of the news for the last several months. After many months of deliberation on who I would vote for I have finally made a decision and here it is: Beyoncé. After watching Lemonade roughly 100 times since it was released I'm not sure that there is any better option for the future leader of our country.
Beyoncé's loyal followers, the Beehive, as they are affectionately called, would gladly go back to the United States being ruled by a monarchy if it meant that Queen B would be in charge. Can you imagine the album she would drop if any country did anything that upset her? I imagine her reaction would be something like this:
Every time Beyoncé performs or drops new song the whole world stops to listen. She could also mend any foreign affairs problems with her Angelic voice. Even she knows "her persuasion could change a nation". She has a song for every mood you could possibly be in so she obviously would have an answer for any problem that we could possibly face. And once she did have a plan we already know that she would be good at giving directions... "to the left to the left..."
Beyoncé can do it all... in heels. I would like to see any other Presidential candidates with their speeches all while wearing six-inch Louboutins! Not only does she sing in these daunting shoes but she dances better than I can while not even wearing shoes!
Running the country is no easy task, but neither is running a multimillion dollar company. While being married, and having a young daughter at the SAME TIME. She is touring, releasing albums, writing songs, performing, choreographing, advertising, and somehow still finds time for mothering. Obviously, her time management skills are on point and she still finds time to look flawless.
On top of everything else she does, Beyoncé is an avid supporter of feminism. She is a strong, beautiful, independent woman and she is very proud of that. In a time when strong feminist movements are in the headlines and women's rights questions are heard at almost every presidential debate who better to answer these questions than Beyoncé. The United States has never had a female president and who better to be the first than Beyoncé?
Not only is Beyoncé a hit in the music industry but she has infiltrated many other industries as well including the hair industry, perfume industry, skincare industry, and many more! So here it is, my official vote for the Presidential election of 2016. Like the Queen said herself: who run the world? girls!
