I grew up very selective on who I wanted to be friends with, and I never really had people that I stayed close to for a long time. However, I am pretty close to some of my childhood friends, but we just don't click anymore. I was fortunate enough to cross paths with one of my best friends In seventh grade.

Our relationship was bumpy at first, but I like to think that's what made our bond super strong. We always were passing notes in class, hanging out in the library, and always talking about something. She came into my life around the time my parents were having a rough patch in their relationship, and fortunately for me, she was always there to listen. She and I have cried on each other's shoulders more than I can count, and we both make the other one laugh when needed.

I met my second best friend when I started work at McDonald's. She had gotten my info because the General Manager thought she was me, and it turned out that our dad's actually worked together. We also realized that we were going to the same high school. She and I became very close as we worked together, And She is the one that constantly keeps me doing something. I love how we clicked so quickly, and I honestly couldn't be happier. We actually work together currently and seem to both keep each other laughing during work even if we are both tried. We even became gym buddies for a minute there and almost became dormmates at JSU.

I met my third best friend at the junior prom. While my other friends were off doing their thing, I was in the bathroom crying. My Ex was at prom and to me, felt like they were trying to take my friends away from me. Whenever I'd dance with them, My Ex would come and dance with them. I know, big deal Megan.

But It took a big toll on me considering the way we broke up and I got very upset. As I was crying, she came up to me and asked what was wrong and comforted me, made me laugh and helped me pull myself together. She and I had a Dual Enrollment class together, and I honestly always wanted to talk to her, but I didn't know how to talk to her. Now, Because of my Prom meltdown, I gained another best friend.

I'm fortunate to have these three girls in my life, and even more lucky that we all hung out a lot in school and out of school. With all of us graduated we tend to not talk much on the group chat we have. But If one of us has a problem, we instantly are there for the person. These three are my sisters and no matter what happens they each have a friend in me.

We may fight sometimes, or get into an argument, but we always forgive each other. Having friends like them have shaped me into the person I am today, and they constantly make me a better person twenty-four seven. Everyone deserves to have at least one friend like that, I just happen to have been blessed with three awesome girls who each have been there for me these last four years of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
