Why do we have a particular order in doing things? Is it because that is how our minds are set up? Or is it our personality that determines how we do things?
Who made it a rule that we have to eat desserts last? Or why do we have to eat appetizers first? Can't we just order appetizers as a meal and order more than one? Sure we can.
Can we consider a dessert a meal? Oh yes, we can. I know we have all done that. I do it on occasion; I just have a tub of ice cream — cookies and cream, to be exact. Is it the most healthy choice? No, but again, who said we have to save desserts for last?
Being healthy, in my opinion, is overrated. Its good to eat healthy, don't get me wrong; we probably all need to do it because of the obesity rate in the United States, but our body needs sugar in moderation. Don't tell me that people don't eat sweets. OK, there are some people that don't; but if it's not something sweet, then is it something salty that they are craving? Maybe. Science is a very wonderful thing and scientists are always finding new things out about our bodies that are amazing.
We have one life to live, so don't be so uptight, and just live freely. If you eat a whole tub or pint of ice cream for dinner, go ahead — no judgment here. There will eventually come a day when we can't enjoy the things we love. So again, enjoy the ice cream or cheesecake or whatever your sweet tooth is telling you to have.
Desserts aren't just for after dinner. They can be for any type of meal and to satisfy our cravings. So whatever your sweet tooth is calling for, go enjoy it.
