Disclaimer: I have oily and acne-prone skin. These suggestions may not work for you if you have sensitive or dry skin. I suggest doing some more research about your skin type if you want more information
1. The Skinfix Foaming Clay Cleanser
This stuff has worked wonders on my skin. It’s gentle and gives a good clean without being too stripping, unlike normal foaming cleansers. The clay blend (Brazilian volcanic and Canadian glacier) has helped reduce some of my redness and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. This product makes me want to get up in the morning just so I can use it, which is totally uncharacteristic of me.
2. The Skinfix Moisture Boost Serum
Yes, another Skinfix product. This may be a tad pricey for some people, but serums are where you really want to invest. Trust me, it’s worth the money. This serum helps my skin retain moisture, which is really important if you’re an oil slick like me. It prevents my skin from over-producing oil, which I really appreciate. This is the first serum I’ve ever used, and it sets a high bar for others in the future.
3. Garnier SkinActive Clean+ Blackhead Eliminating Scrub
Do NOT use this if you have sensitive skin; it’s a recipe for disaster. However, if you don’t, then this is a great blackhead scrub, and is actually pretty effective. Within the first 2 weeks of use, I noticed the number of blackheads on my nose reducing. However, after I stopped using it for a while, my blackheads returned. Consistent use is the key for this. I recommend using it twice a week, three times if your skin can handle it.
4. Pixi x Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse
Ever since I found Caroline's channel on YouTube, I’ve been addicted. Her skincare knowledge is so vast that every time I watch her videos, I feel like I learn something new. I love her advice, so I decided to give her product a try. Thank goodness I did, because this woman knows her stuff. The cleansing balm has a nice texture and isn’t overly oily, while the cleanser itself is soothing and relaxing. It’s almost like a thicker milk cleanser. I highly recommend both Caroline’s youtube channel and her product.
