It's finally that time of the year, baseball season! Most people do not understand the thrill of watching a baseball game, but if you do, then baseball season is your favorite season. There are many reasons why baseball is the best sport, so I decided to highlight a few.

Weather

Baseball season signifies summer. There is nothing better than sitting outside watching your favorite sport and getting a nice tan. But don't forget your sunscreen because you don't want that awkward farmers tan.

Atmosphere

Being at the stadium surrounded by thousands of fans cheering on the same guy is like nothing else. When the entire stadium does "the wave" it is like a giant flashmob. Baseball allows the fans to be a part of the experience. Whether it is the kiss cam, or just the funny people on the jumbotron that results in the entire stadium laughing, the fans and atmosphere definitely make this sport special.

Food

Although very overpriced, there is nothing like eating ice cream out of the helmet. The amount of peanuts that get eaten at a baseball game is unreal, and you always end up stepping on countless amount of shells.

Cheap tickets

Although the food is overpriced, seats aren't always. You can get $10 seats and they won't be horrible. It is definitely true, there isn't a bad seat in a baseball stadium.

Memories

Baseball can be enjoyed by everyone. I still remember the games that I went to when I was in elementary school. Whether it's with a friend or with family, nothing is better than the memories at the ballpark. You may not always remember the final score of the game, but you will always remember the times you spent with your friends or family cheering on your favorite team.

Baseball may not be loved by everyone, but for the ones who do love it, I hope you're as excited as I am for the summer days and baseball games.
