“American Horror Story” never fails to entertain and frighten teenagers and adults alike. However, this season is different. It appeals to modern-day society, taking place in post-2016 election Michigan. There are terrifying and heart-wrenching scenes in every episode, which puts this season at the top of the ratings every week. The plot twists are abundant and are shocking viewers at the end of every episode. Some twists are more shocking than others; the following are the most suspenseful, terrifying and interesting moments of this season so far. WARNING: spoilers ahead.

10. Ally shoots Pedro

When Ivy sends an employee from the restaurant that she owns to check on Ally during a blackout, Ally becomes frightened and accidentally shoots him, believing he is a clown sent to kill her.

9. Winter and Ally

Winter, Ally and Ivy’s nanny, runs a bath for Ally to help her “de-stress.” However, the nanny seduces Ally and secretly films the endeavor, which is later seen by Oz and Ivy, prompting Ivy to leave.

8. Ally turns on Vince

Vince, Ally’s therapist, is also Kai and Winter’s brother. He learns of Kai’s cult and tells Ally in confidence that he wants to help her take the cult down. Ally sells Vince out to Kai, and he is killed by the cult.

7. Bebe Babbitt is assisting Kai

Bebe Babbitt, the ex-lover of radical feminist Valerie Solanas, seeks out the women of the cult and forms a movement to seek revenge on the men for treating them as inferior. However, the end of the episode reveals that Bebe has been conspiring with Kai to test the womens’ loyalty the whole time.

6. The women kill Harrison

Fueled by Bebe’s anti-testosterone rage, the women lure Harrison into Ivy’s restaurant and kill him with a chainsaw. It is the first time someone has been killed without Kai’s direct approval, and suggests that discontentment is forming in the cult for the first time.

5. Winter’s back and forth with Kai

The audience never truly knows how Winter feels about Kai. She tells the other women that she doesn't trust him, then sells them out for his approval. She tells him that she loves him, then tries to stage his murder. It’s very confusing, and makes for a number of twists.

4. Meadow’s shooting

Meadow escapes the cult with Ally’s help and plans to seek revenge on Kai. She shoots members of the cult and Kai himself at a campaign rally, killing herself before the police arrive. Ally takes the gun from meadow and is arrested by the police. It is later revealed that this was Kai’s plan all along, and Meadow gave her life to help him become a martyr.

3. Ivy is in the cult

Ivy joined the cult to take her son and leave Ally, whom she is jealous of and has started to hate. She followed Winter, who told her that she would be happier and safer in the cult after the two kidnapped a man who assaulted Ivy at an election rally.

2. Ivy is murdered

Ally cooks a romantic dinner for Ivy, and the two seem happy. However, Ally has put arsenic in Ivy’s food, and reveals that she has been waiting to seek revenge on her wife since she was in the psych ward. She watches coldly as Ivy chokes up blood and falls to the floor, dead.

1. Ally joins the cult

Ally, the one person who seemed to have no reason to join Kai’s cult, is inducted once she tells Kai of Vince’s conspiracy to take them down. She removes her mask at the end of the episode, and everyone is surprised, including Ivy, who never thought she'd have to see Ally again.

With only two episodes left, this season is sure to end on a climactic note. If you’re not caught up, I suggest binge-watching all nine episodes right now. It’s one of the best seasons the show has aired, and a can’t-miss for not only AHS fans, but anyone who wants something thrilling and suspenseful to watch.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
