20 Times Michael Scott Summed Up Being A Professional Procrastinator

Where's the mug for "World's Best Procrastinator" at?

One thing that us students in high school or college are amazing at doing is procrastinating.

And If you're a student who claims to not be a procrastinator, then you're definitely lying to yourself. Admit it, we've all had those nights where we feel too tired or lazy to start an upcoming project so we push it to the side with no worries. But then the due date eventually creeps up on us and then it's somehow the night before the project is due and you instantly feel like there's a weight on your shoulders.

We've all had our fair share of these experiences where we carelessly push something off to the side and instead binge watch an entire season of Friends on Netflix. And if you're a professional at procrastinating at any point during the day like me, then you will definitely find these next few gifs to be a little too relatable.

1. Your professor assigns you a big upcoming project and you realize how much work and time it's gonna take to finish it

As if I already don't have enough things to do (aka watch Netflix).

2. Except it's only due in two weeks so you're basically chilling

Two weeks is a long time, right?

3. So during this time you do literally go out of your way to avoid this project

What do you mean there was an assignment?

4. And every time one of your friends brings it up in conversation you act as if you've never heard about it before

What assignment? Never heard of it.

5. But then two weeks pass by and you eventually remember it the night before it's due

And that's when you know it's gonna be a long night.

6. Once you try and start the project you realize that you have no idea how to do it

Maybe watching Netflix and staying in bed all day wasn't such a good idea...

7. So you go to Google for answers, but you can't find anything useful and you're still left confused

How do you move forward if even the internet can't help you?

8. And after being confused for so long, you decide to have a *short* study break...

Staring at your computer screen cluelessly for thirty minutes DOES take a lot out of you...

9. ..Maybe have a quick snack too

I mean, everyone DOES say that Brainfood always helps.

10. Then once you're done taking a break, you think you're going to be able to start fresh, but then realize you still have no idea what to do

HELP.

11. So you sit at your desk having done nothing with little to no motivation

Maybe it's time to just call it quits and to email your professor that you can't turn it in because you're "sick."

12. But then you somehow get a little bit of inspiration and the juices in your brain start flowing

And then you start to think that *maybe* you have a shot at finishing this and finally accomplishing something.

13. At this point, you're suddenly on a roll with something and feel unstoppable

Where was all of this motivation a few hours ago?

14. You're so motivated that even when your phone starts going off from your friends' group chat you want to strangle all of them for disrupting your productive flow

I love you, but please shut up for the next few hours or so.

15. Because at this point, nothing is stopping you from finishing this assignment

Not even the YouTube videos of iconic vines open in the other tabs that are calling your name to watch them.

16. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, you finish your assignment and you feel like you're on top of the world for pulling this off at the last minute

You never thought this wonderful moment would come, so a little celebration is definitely needed.

17. And even if you realize it's not the best work you've done after reviewing it, you're just proud that you actually finished it

At least you shot your shot.

18. It might've taken all night to do, to the point where you can't even function anymore due to the lack of sleep you got

What is sleep in college, anyway?

19. Except that all goes away just from the satisfaction of turning it in and lifting this HUGE weight off your shoulders, proving everyone else wrong in that you actually finished on time

Aren't you proud of me, mom?

20. Until your professor decides to assign another important assignment, to when you realize that you have to go through this process all over

Nope. Just nope.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
