1. Their favorite wine dipped in sparkles.

Spread some glue all over, shake some sparkles on, and let dry. This last minute gift looks like you've been planning it all along!

2. Amazon Prime Membership

This is the gift that keeps on giving. The $99 payment is good for one year of free two-day shipping, unlimited photo storage in Amazon drive, and access to millions of songs, books, and videos! Look into discounts for students as well.

3. Movie Giftcard

The movies are so expensive nowadays. Slap a gift card on a bag of popcorn or someone's favorite candy and you've given them the gift of free entertainment (that they otherwise wouldn't have spent $13 on themselves).

4. M&M Plus Money Jar

Pinterest provided this slick idea. Grab a jar you already have laying around, toss a toilet paper roll in, fill with m&ms (or other treats), and slide a monetary prize in the middle!

5. Mani/Pedi

No one doesn't love a mani/pedi! Gift certificates are quick and ensure your loved one a session of well-deserved pampering.

6. Tickets To An Attraction

It doesn't take long to log onto an online site, print out tickets, and put them in a sweet envelope. Experiences are often greater gifts than tangible items. Go to a show in the city, and amusement park, a Christmas village, or a concert for one of their favorite artists.

8. Baked goods

Whip up a batch of homemade cookies. If you throw a few Hershey kisses and candy canes on top of the plate as well it'll look like you spent two days slaving over the dish.

7. If you're forced to re-gift...

Sometimes you really don't have time to get ANYTHING. If you must re-gift, look into your closet and find new soaps, unused candles, picture frames, movies, flags, and other decor items. Just make sure to wrap them nicely!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
