With the end of the school year approaching and also those dreadful final exams, you may be asking yourself, “What can I do to destress from all this final craziness?”
What I fins helps me the most, especially during the holiday season, is to watch a good holiday film. Here is why. For one thing, the formula to a holiday classic is very simple. It usually involves a happy ending or that the characters usually learn from something after having terrible happen. This is the most common formula with the exception of some holiday films (Krampus anyone?)
In any case, with a film formula such as this, it’s pretty hard to get stressed out or upset. The films have this makeup to generate happiness within a person or to produce some sort of moral change within an individual. With this in mind, If you ever feel that you are in a jam do to the pressures of university this holiday season, relax, and let a good, old fashioned, holiday film relieve you from your stressors.
