Favorite movie

The Nightmare before Christmas has to be my favorite Halloween movie ever. The story and the characters are just awesome. Plus the music is so catchy and sticks in your head. Bonus is it can double as a Christmas movie as well.

Everyone love Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown movies are a classic. There’s a movie for pretty much any holiday out there. The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is a must watch in October.

Who you gonna call? 

Another Halloween classic. The movie is just all around fun and there are so many icnonic scenes. Plus it’s fun to sing the super catchy song.

Spooky Toy Story

This is a little Halloween special for fans of Toy Story. Taking place after Toy Story 3, this movie's Woody and the gang are on the case when their friends start disappearing in the night. If you even remotely love Toy Story then you should watch this movie.

If you haven't seen this yet go watch it. There are three movies in this series but the first is always the best. Marnie is just your average teenager with an overprotective mom who has a grudge against Halloween until she finds out she's a witch. Following her, Grandma Marnie and her siblings travel to Halloweentown a place for all things or people that go bump in the night. I won't go into too much detail because I'm sure most of you have already seen it and know why it's on this list.

Puppies in costumes 

This might be for a younger age range but don't knock it till you've watched it. Spooky Buddies is a Halloween special in a slew of Buddie movies revolving around a family of talking golden retriever puppies. The buddies set out to defeat an evil warlock and save the town before it's too late. If you have kids or younger siblings watch this movie with them - it's worth it. Just don't blame me if they want a puppy afterwards.

Underrated Halloween movie 

This is such an interesting story and an underrated movie. It's based off of a book/comic series and even got a sequel to the first movie. Hannah is eager to go out trick-or-treating for the first time, but unfortunately, she is stuck with her mean cousin who ends up ditching her in the basement of an old dark house. That's when Scary Godmother shows up to take her to the ultimate Halloween party and have the best Halloween ever. It's a great movie and fun to watch.

Weird is the new cool

The Adams family is just a bundle of laughs. It’s all about embracing your inner weirdo and just having fun with it.

R.L. Stine comes alive

If you love reading scary books and loved the goosebumps series, check out this movie. Goosebumps is a movie starring Jack Black as R.L. Stine the author behind the Goosebumps series. Imagine if all the creations of Goosebumps got together it'd be the end of the world right? Well, you'll just have to watch the movie and find out.

Boo!

Would you ever be friends with a ghost? I promise he's friendly. Casper is a lovable ghost who doesn't like to scare others unlike his uncles. Join Casper on a fun adventure as he navigates how to date the girl he likes when he's a ghost.

The Disney version of Supernatural 

Trying to fit in during high-school is hard enough. Imagine throwing in the fact that you're a 5th generation monster hunter and you have to save the world from monsters on Halloween night. With a star-studded cast of Dove Cameron, Katherine McNamara and Luke Benward, this is definitely a movie to watch. Plus the soundtrack is amazing.

The House ate my friend 

Have you ever dared your friends to go into a spooky abandoned house? It's freaky right? Now imagine if that house was alive and had a penchant for eating anything and everything that wandered into its gullet. That's this movie.

Witch Sisters

Highly recommend from many of my friends. Going into an abandoned gourde always ends badly.

A Halloween classic - this is a funky wacky movie that should be on anyone's list.

Don’t sleep 

You ever had a crazy dream or nightmare and you end up dead but then wake up a bit shaken afterward? Yah not in this movie - if you die in your dreams, you die in real life too. So grab some coffee and make sure to not fall asleep.

Clowns are bad

It is a remastered version of the book IT written by Stephen King. Moral of the story - avoid clowns in storm drains.

Hannibal the Cannibal 

A young FBI agent goes to interview a notorious serial killer for information on a case. What could go wrong?

Hockey masks are scary 

If you're planning on attending a summer camp sometime or becoming a camp counselor, good for you. Just make sure there isn't a history of mysterious disappearances and murders at the camp before you go.

Ghostface 

Apparently high schoolers are becoming an endangered species. In this classic slasher film, a bunch of suburban high school kids is being hunted down by a mysterious serial killer wearing a ghost mask.

Dolls are creepy

You ever have those old fashion dolls with the weird eyes that seemed to follow you everywhere? That is this movie to the extreme where the doll goes on a killing spree.
