Thank You, Best Friend, For All You Do

I want to say thank you for all you do.

I met you in high school. You were just another person...or so I thought.

I have had many "best friends" my whole life, that never ended up staying in my life. When I first met you I had no idea almost 5 years later we would still be going strong as best friends. We have had many arguments, disagreements, and periods of time where we just didn't speak.

We always get over it though and end up right by each other's side once again. I have never gotten to know anybody so well; (other then my fiance of course) it is crazy to me that I know so much about you, and honestly stick up for you as if I was your blood sister. You have the most beautiful soul, and you have got to be the best person I have ever met.

I may have taught you how to wear mascara back when we were 14, but you have taught me a lot more than that, you have taught me how to find myself. It's okay to cry or drink a bottle of wine to myself.

I am so lucky you have been my shoulder to cry on, my counselor when I need somebody to talk too, not to mention the fact that if I tell you I need you, you drop what you're doing and come right over. I appreciate it, and I appreciate you. I appreciate all of our random shopping trips, and listening to music in the car and going from singing Kendrick to Hannah Montana to Drinking problem by Midland. Getting lost on the way home from the mall, getting lost almost everywhere we go, but always having fun doing it. Thank you for always being there for me when I need you, telling me what looks good and what doesn't in the mall.Thank you for still coming to my house even after all of the apparent ghost encounters, and moving shadows.

I appreciate that your family is practically my family, and they make me feel so welcome and let's be honest they are totally used to me being around by now.

Thank you for telling me I didn't have to do anything I didn't want to do when my parents wanted me to try out for cheerleading, or stay with a boyfriend I didn't like. You always told me to do what I wanted to do.I have always had a jealousy for you, you have great hair and a great sense of style, but never forget I taught you how to wear that mascara like a pro! We may not hang out every day, or even talk every day but I want you to know I love you and I appreciate you.

You have been my best friend and rock in life for as long as I remember, so I hope I never lose you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
