Summer is here, and you know what that means! Extra time means more time for fun and excitement. Whether you're going out with your school crush, or a boy you meet down the shore, here are some excellent date ideas, tips, and suggestions.

1. Find a cute town a little distance away, go for a nice drive with the windows down and your favorite music blasting, and explore the town!

Preferably a beach town, because of course they always have cutest little shops and eateries to explore, but you can make your own fun anywhere- you can literally just type in your favorite word and find a random street with the same name.

2. Literally drive around.

I know this is kind of wack, but like, do you ever have that feeling that you just don't want to leave the car once you reach your destination? What I would love is to just drive around in the front seat with my significant other, play our favorite music, and feel the wind in my hair.

3. Go to an open bar karaoke.

Music makes the world go 'round!

4. Go to a free concert/ band performance.

Being able to share your favorite music with your significant other is, like, the best part of a relationship. And, finding that special singer that you two just share a connection with is the best thing ever. Pnb Rock, Khalid, Drake, J. Cole, etc...

5. Get your fan gear together and attend a sporting event!

The excitement and energy of a sporting event is like no other!

6. Travel a local, tourist-attraction filled city, and take cheesy, cute pictures and visit all of the historic landmarks!

7. Ice Skating.

8. A traditional drive-in Movie.

10. A beach day and boardwalk night (literally the best).

This is the cutest, most romantic thing ever, in my opinion.

11. Attend a class, whether it be of painting, cooking, or crafting!

Learning, making, and learning about your compatibility with your SO is always a great idea.

12. A dinner with all of your friends!

Food and fun is always a good time.

13. School dances like Homecoming or Prom.

14. An arcade.

Games, fun, and competitive spirit are always a good idea.

15. Wash your car.

A fun alternative when you can't get to the beach on a hot day.

16. Water Park!

It's like the beach, but more energetic, exciting, and more to do!

17. Six Flags: Great Adventure or another amusement park.

There's so much to do, from rides to games, to food, to the safari, and of course, the waterpark!

18. Disney World!

This is pretty much goals. If you live in Florida or Cali or are ever simply presented with the opportunity, take the opportunity to be in the happiest place on Earth with the LOYL. (Love of your life.)

19. A party!

Parties are always a great date place because it's never awkward. There are tons of people and you'll never really run out of things to do.

20. A Trampoline park.

You can never avoid fun while jumping.

21. Attend the local fair or carnival.

22. Go shopping at the mall or local outlets.

You'll know if he's the one by the clothes and jewelry that he chooses for you.

23. Do yoga together/attend an athletic class.

Again, not awkward because you'll constantly be doing something and it challenges you.

24. Play a sport with a group of friends like a football, soccer, or softball game.

I love being competitive!

25. Volunteer together at the Ronald McDonald House, a Soup Kitchen, etc.

You can help others while having a great time.

26. A parade/spend a holiday together to celebrate.

New Year's Eve, Christmas, Fourth Of July, etc...

27. Bowling.

Super traditional and basic, but fun!

28. Mini Golfing.

29. Dolphin Watching Boat Ride.

30. A Museum- Art, Science, History...

This is especially perfect for big learners and students!

31. The movies.

Simple, but cute!

32. Simply stay in!

Movies, snacks, talking, and personal time with each other. There's nothing wrong with a good, relaxing night.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
