The Best Christmas Episodes Of The Office

Years later, I am pulling together the official ordered list of Christmas Episodes from the well known show "The Office"

As is the case with many people (not everyone, I know), I love "The Office". It is one of my top rewatched shows, and it's my go to show when I just have some time to kill. Those who have seen the show from start to finish know that the highlight of every season (all but the first and fourth) is the Christmas episode. They're a bit of a running gag, and, after having seen them all at least 7 times each at this point, I have decided to compile a list based on my very professional opinion. So, here ya go, my rankings of the episodes from not the greatest to greatest.

7. Benihana Christmas

Season 3 ep 10

*CRINGE* That's what this episode is. Michael is known for his hijinks in every episode, but, in this episode, it's less pitifully endearing and more downright pathetic. I love the idea of the two different parties, but Michael's floundering for a rebound and Andy's kissassing is just too painful.

6. Classy Christmas

Season 7 ep 11 and 12

In this series of two episodes, Michael actually isn't the biggest problem. His admirable efforts to woo Holly are actually pretty sweet, and the office arguably looks best of all the Christmases. That being said, his creeping into her personal life and subsequent lack of acceptance that she's moved on is a bit aggressive. Also, I LOVE the repartee between Jim and Dwight but their constant attacking with snow balls just seems like lazy writing compared to some of the other masterful pranks and conversations between the two.

5. Christmas Wishes

Season 8 ep 10

The Jim and Dwight pranks in this episode are SO much better than Classy Christmas, but, unfortunately, that isn't enough to save this episode. Andy and Erin, who are a mess and a half of a couple, ruin the episode. Erin has seemingly never had alcohol before and quickly becomes shambly as all get out. She wants Andy's new girlfriend to be dead, and Andy gets mad (justifiably so), but he proceeds to creep on her the rest of the night.

4. Secret Santa

Season 6 ep 13

Usually I don't condone Michael's immaturity, but his fussing in this episode is next level. Not being Santa, he takes it upon himself to become the "next best thing", Jesus. He calls David Wallace and throws a wrench into secret Santa, only to fix it in the end by being his usual big hearted self. Also Andy's 12 day of Christmas is funny in and of itself, but the 12 drummers at the very end are a nice cherry on top.

3. Christmas Party

Season 2 ep 10

The first of many installments. There's nothing particularly outstanding about this episode, which is why it sits comfortably towards the top for me. It's an easy watch. Nothing is really too bad or cringy(except the usual Michael acting like a 7-yr-old), and it gives one of the most pivotal and recognizable moments for Jim and Pam's relationship, the teapot. Ignoring the Ryan weirdness, the coworkers get to have a good time together, and we see what they're like when they let loose.

2. Moroccan Christmas

Season 5 ep 11

It starts with the amazing desk wrapping prank from Jim, and it only gets better. We see Phyllis go from her usual sweet self to a power hungry, blackmailing b*tch, and it's GREAT! Her leverage over Angela and subsequent spilling of her secret shapes the not only this episode but the episodes to come. Andy somehow has a Sitar, which is golden. Dwight has a bunch of Unicorn dolls. And Meredith lights herself on fire, prompting an ill-advised and hilarious intervention by Michael. All in all, a bomb episode.

1. Dwight's Christmas

Season 9 ep 9

All the others are up for debate, but we have to all agree that Dwight's Christmas is unequivocally the best. It's actually somewhat true to tradition (roll through a German Christmas Market, and you'll find some Gluhwein), and Dwight as Belsnickel is an actual riot. Between beating people with stick and the overemphasized accent, it's laughs throughout the episode. There's even a heartwarming moment as Jim decides to return to the party, thus lifting the spirits of the downtrodden Dwight ( and very drunk Darryl). Plus there's a nice little side plot between Plop and Erin, which is cute but doesn't awkwardly cross the line into cheating.

Disclaimer: Obviously, I'm just one person, and this ranking very well may be just my opinion and no one else. Watch them all then decide for yourself. :)

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
